David Von Schlegell was an American abstract artist and sculptor.
This piece is a completely abstract painting using oranges, yellows, whites, greens, blues, and purples. Each color takes up a considerable amount of space with a large white block in the bottom left side below a yellow configuration which stretches up the left side of the canvas. The piece is highly gestural with a purple block in the center below an orange configuration in the URC. Cream accents on the purple, and orange.
