Scheuerle noted, "Walking Bear, Cheyenne - Painted in Busby, Mont., Sub. Agy of Tongue River Res. Mont. - during celebration of the unveiling of the "Chief 2 Moons" monument - June 26th, 1938 - Walking Bear is a great big, strong middle aged Indian, who was very friendly to me, helping me carrying my stuff, looking out after me and interpreting for me."
