In this drawing de Kooning created an abstracted figure done on off white paper with a central mass of charcoal line hovering around a lemon yellow torso. The figure is centrally oriented and surrounded by unmarked paper. The charcoal line describes the majority of distinguishable features, two breasts, an eye, arms, that are accented with quick orange strokes. Light cerulean and ultramarine blue linear marks define the outside of the form and a solitary block of purple lies within the confines of the figure, on the viewers lefthand side.
