Description:
Scheuerle wrote, "This is very old grandmother, she's blind, and was carrying her grandchild in papoose board, all she had on was rags, I noticed a lot of old folks that have not much clothes and care little for them. She was a fine old type, I had a rather hard time with her and the papoose, trying to hold them [still] for a sketch."
