Scheuerle's inscription on the back reads, "The Dog Dance - to create laughs & fun...Allight", "Rattlesnake Bear", Assiniboine Sioux - Painted at Fort Belknap Mont - July 1914. The comedian of his tribe - always laughing, singing, dancing, 'Allight' was his every word in english! So I gave that name - allight - bought his robe, & warbonnet-horned & magpie feathers."
