Twenty-six-year-old Sewdish immigrant Anna Holmquist wore this dress of cotton voile, decorated with machine-made Venetian lace, at here marriage to thirty-four-year-old sawyer Albert Kilburn on September 3, 1903. The Lutheran ceremony took place in Helena, and the bride redonned her dress when the Jefferson City couple traveled to the Elite Studio in Butte for a wedding portrait.
