Description:
The maker of this quilt, Anna McLaughlin Storrer, was born in Maine and died in Ohio. After Anna's death her husband James married her sister Laura McLaughlin. They had two children, May and Frank. After her husband's death, Laura brought her sister's quilt to Darby, in 1912, where she came to live with her daughter and son-in-law. The quilt was passed down to Laura's granddaughter-in-law Opal Flightner who added the matching border in 1956.
