Description:
Lucille Meinecke pieced this quilt from scraps saved from old coats and suits. In 1933 Lucille and son Arthur Schmidt operated the Lucky Bug Fly Shop after her husband Jack unexpectedly passed away. Arthur had been tying flies since the age of eight. Their slogan was "If Fly is Right Fish Will Bite." Lucille was made honorary game warden in 1936.
