Twenty-year-old Margaret Crowley married Paul Nathan Smith, age twenty-four, on December 10, 1923. Although the couple lived in Helena, they married in Great Falls. For her wedding, she wore this flapper-style silk georgette dress - with gold metallic lace - made by her mother. Wear patterns suggest that the dress was a favorite and saw lots of use.
